Just got out of Facebook Jail! (Again!)

BOOM!  Just got out of FB jail!  This time it was for another meme exchange involving bromance; I posted a pic of two dudes shaking hands and touching the tips of their tent-poled cargo shorts.  There is NO proof that those tent-poles were caused by hardened penises–none whatsoever!!!  I demand a fair trial, Facebook Jailers!  🤣😆🤣

Obviously, if you see me go dark on FB, you can simply check my recent posts on this blog, dirtyscifibuddha.com.  I will NOT be denied!  HEH heh heh!  😏

And just a reminder:  Echo 1 will be FREE for five days, starting February 15!  Echo 2, 3, 4, and Volume 1&2 Combined Edition will be $0.99 for 1 week!  🙂 🙂 😀

I’ll be posting a variant of this message once (sometimes twice) a day until the sale ends on February 15.  Apologies if it gets repetitive.

Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle  Vol. 3 on Kindle here:  Vol. 3 on Kindle  Vol.4 on Kindle here:  Vol. 4 on Kindle  Echo Omnibus here:  Echo Omnibus  Echo Vol. 1 & 2 Combined Edition here:  Combined Edition  If you wanna hear me babble on about anything and everything, and strain my FREAKIN’ BRAIN, then here’s a link to my podcast:  Strained Brains!  It is on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, and Google Play!  Please give it a listen and a five-star review!  Here’s the miscellaneous gear that I use to try and become an uber-human:  Optimization, and last but not least, my buddy Jumar Balacy has made a supercool microsite at kentwaynebrain.com!  Go check out his computer-based wizardry  🙂 🙂 😀

Hold on!  I just got approved to be an Amazon affiliate!  If you’re going to buy ANY product from Amazon, and you’d like to support my efforts for absolutely free, then simply click on one of the Echo links I’ve provided—they’ll send you to Echo’s Amazon page—and THEN buy whatever product you wish.  Amazon gives me a small referral fee each time this happens!  In this manner you can support my books, musings, podcast, zany ads, or my adventures along the noble path known as The Way of The Man Child WITHOUT spending any more money than you were already going to!  Should you do this, I vow to send you a silent blessing, causing your genitals to adopt the optimum size, shape, smell, and death-ray attachment of choice that paralyzes your enemies with fear and envy!  Entire worlds will bow before your nether parts!  😲💪 😜

  1. Here’s just a suggestion. Don’t post anything to FB. It sounds like you’re on their radar. Stay off FB till they are fixated on someone else. They may be looking for an excuse for them to take away your account. Next time they start acting high and mighty ask them to specifically point out the by law you broke. On the other hand…post copies of their emails to you, rail about free speech, the constitution, being a vet – in short use law and your constitution against them. Say you fought for the right to say anything in your country. Give ’em hell but do it so it makes FB look the bad guy. Picking on a vet…shame. Give ’em hell Kent

    • Apparently, someone has to report me in order for this to happen. I think it’s just the recent trend of “call-out culture.” I see them shooting themselves in their foot; if people keep getting banned, they’re just gonna go elsewhere, like here.😁 So in the end, it’s all good—thanks for the support man!

  2. This is what I meant with corporate censorship. Mind you, FB has no obligations towards you as long you’re a non paying customer. And even then. They’re privately owned and that means they can take or reject clients at will – as long they’re not doing it in a way that could be considered as legally discriminating. Until the same gut rejection of state censorship broadens to include its powerful corporate counterpart, the conversation on censorship remains limited, and ultimately unfinished.

  3. Sounds like just the sort of post which would have hordes of us Brits rolling in the aisles. We may be screwing up with Brexit but you’ll never take away our capacity for smutty, juvenile humour.
Anyway it’s not fair FB. Ignores whatever I post.

      • Gareth Ennis is one of the best; his WWII comics’ story lines take the breath away.
We’ve always inclined to the ‘smut’. Just take a look back at 18th century political cartoons in the newspapers. We were also adept at getting past censors.
The legendary Spike Milligan comic and comic writer, genius behind the 1950s-60s Radio Show ‘The Goons’ once invented a character Captain Hugh Jampton. Eventually some sharp eared fellow at the BBC (who had also been in the British army in WWII) realised the words were actually ‘Huge Hampton’ (British slang for a piece of the male anatomy which was above average).

      • Ha! I actually thought Garth Ennis was career military, from the way he wrote. I was shocked to find out that he was just a military history buff who had been in one drunken fistfight. He’s one of the reasons I say you don’t have to have lived what you write, so you don’t have to write what you know, necessarily. (how can you anyway, if you’re writing fantasy or sci fi?)

  4. Hey, I read the first five chapters of Echo Vol 1, shortly after reopening my WordPress dot com account. I have to say that your writing grabbed me. My first reaction after the first few pages was “kewl, this has a kind of Joe Haldeman (The Forever War) vibe to it.”

Well, you got me hooked. Enough so that out of curiosity, I went and binge-listened to the first 15 or so of your podcast ‘Strained Brains”, admittedly with a good measure of scepticism going in, due to the slightly ribald nature of this blog (keeping my ears keen for evidence of an egotistical blow-hard).

As it turns out I was happy to realize that your observations and commentary about various things are perceptive, on point, and measured… and your podcasting partner Dr Monk (ditto).

I want to congratulate you on successfully (and thoroughly) hijacking essentially all of my attention for a full day and a half (dang), and counting.

One last thing: Up there you say your free Vol 1 starts on Feb 15. Then you say it ends on Feb 15th. I want to get the Vol 1 freebie so I can finish reading this one (meet the chick/mentor) and then happily pay for the rest of the series a bit later when I’m not so damn broke.

Yea, cause of you I reopened my Amazon account too. Sheesh. Got the kindle app. all that jazz. Good work, dude !!

    • ooh—crap! I meant to say that it starts on February 15 and ends on February 22! I’ll fix that right now. Thanks for the catch! Also, thanks for the support—that sounds like a lot of inconvenience to go to in order to listen to my brain-strained rambling, LOL! Echo starts off fairly dark and violent, but then veers off into existential philosophy in volumes 3 and 4, so I hope that’s your cup of tea. (still stays pretty violent and dark throughout, though.) Apologies for any noobery in Volume 1; I promise it gets smoother.😅
