News:  On Echo 4—I’m getting to that point in editing where things are kinda smooth, then I rearrange stuff in a bid to make them ULTRA smooth, and then I have to fix them again.  This is where I really hunker down and make good use of thesaurus.com and synonym.com to try and squeeze every last drop of flow and meaning I can from each sentence.  I’ve identified a big plot hole around chapter 36, and I aim to fix it as I head toward it on this eighth pass.

Just finished filming 2 Logical Idiots, Episode 4, where we visit one of the restaurants we discovered in SF from one of Mr. Bourdain’s amazing shows.  We talk a bit about suicide, the meaning of life, and our views on that stuff.  Both Dicky and I were big fans of the late and great Mr. Bourdain, and we wish him the best, wherever he is.  Jane Tims, I haven’t forgotten about your request to talk about the writing process.  I go on at length about it in the second hour of episode 4.  🙂
