Echo is where I started my writing journey. The series has four books, and is filled with musings on society and existence, along with big doses of violence (especially in book 2) as well as psychic stuff and existential philosophy (book 3 and 4). You can see me get a firmer grip on dialogue, description, action, perspective, and symbolism as you progress through the series. #Kindle #KindleUnlimited #writingcommunity #writer #booktok #writerscommunity #writing

Echo is an exciting read. Occasionally gruesome, but always fascinating. Book 1 and 2 and (most of) 3 really can’t be read sitting still. They are filled with moments that get your heart racing—and keep it that way. A lot of scenes in Book 3 leave you thinking, “This author is brilliant! So creative!” A couple of plot points left me feeling like I just walked by a person with untied shoelaces; I want the laces to be tied so badly, I’m perseverating (still, even after a walking away, taking a multi-day break from the series to write a bit and read two other books). I just started Book 4. I keep telling myself I’m going to enjoy it; the shoelaces will be tied. My brain’s problems aside, I highly recommend Echo.

I’ve heard some of the same sentiments from other readers, particularly about Kali. Unfortunately, she only appears in book 3. I hope you enjoy book 4! It’s very psychedelic/existential/philosophical compared to the others.
