  1. Dirty sci Fi Budda, love it “absurdical” is an awesome word. Thanks for reading my “Star Wars” point of view…’ post/ranking of the movies and Disney+ series’ What did you think of the order in which I put the theatrical movies? If anyone had not seen any of the movies I would suggest Rogue One as a great place to start. Then the original trilogy followed by Andor. What do you think?

  2. Great post. I don’t normally find the time these days to read books, but this one does sound intriguing to me. I love stories taking place in high school settings because they often remind me of my own experience in school that shaped my identity. Therefore, I’ve always enjoyed movies that set with high schools. As I read the synopsis of your book, it brought to mind a couple of teen movies I had seen recently. Just wondering if such movies inspired your book? For instance, the plot brought to mind the recent movie “Bottoms”. It tells the story of a pair of lesbian girls that create a fight club in high school to beat bullies. A brilliant film that is definitely worth watching. Here’s why I recommend it strongly:

    • That’s a cool premise! For mine, I wanted to combine a bunch of subgenres, to include prom horror, teen geniuses styled after Barry Ween, a bit of existential philosophy, raunchy comedy, and psychedelics. It’s the teen adventure my younger self wanted to read.
