Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

Fourth of July.  A bunch of privileged, micro-phallused men are shirtless and painted red white and blue, chanting “USA!  USA!”  They charge up to me as I’m walking to my car and the leader sneers, “Bro, why aren’t you wearing something patriotic?  What are you, a terrorist or something?”  I roll my eyes.  “No, I served dude.  What about you?”  It catches the leader off guard, then he yells, “Liar!  If you had served you’d be carrying heat, waving a bible, and driving a monster truck!  LIAR!”  Uh-oh.  I get in my car and lock the doors, but before I can drive off they’re rocking it back and forth.  Snarling, red-white-and-blue visages are screaming at me through the windows.  Open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  Gul’Thak, Barbarian King of Wintermore, lands in their midst and begins beating the absolute piss out of ’em.  He gets one in a headlock and squeezes until the man’s eyes bug…then his head pops like a pimple.  The rest turn and flee, but Gul’Thak manages to grab a straggler.  He bends the man’s head backward, rips off his pants, and stuffs the guy’s face up his own ass.  Amazingly, the guy’s still alive and screaming for help while ensconced in his own rectum.  I can’t help but grin.  Appropriate.

Crazies rocking your car?  Call on Gul’Thak.  Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle. Links for Vol.2 on Smashwords/Nook/iBooks/Kobo are available here:  Echo on other platforms
