Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

I’m having lunch with an acquaintance.  She’s turned into a pushy foodie.  “MMMMMMMMmmmmooohmyyyGOD!”  That’s what’s assaulting my ears after EVERY BITE SHE TAKES.  Her eyes are rolling up with each spoonful and I’m trying to enjoy my own noms but she keeps interrupting my meal by talking my ear off about how good HER food is.  I quietly open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  Tiny little gremlin men emerge from her risotto during her latest eye-roll and take up position, bending her spoon back and transforming it into a tiny risotto-laden catapult.  I watch in amusement as they communicate in a special-ops worthy series of hand signals.  The team leader gives a downward slash of his hand, they launch the risotto, then scatter.  It flies into Pushy Foodie’s mouth and suddenly she’s gagging, hands at her throat.  I quickly perform the Heimlich and I’m hailed as a hero.  A waiter runs over, “Oh my god!  Meal’s on the house ma’am, sir.  Can we get you anything as an apology?”  Pushy Foodie is still coughing and I smile up at the waiter.  “Just the check, please.”

Do not suffer Pushy Foodies.  Fight back with a tiny squad of gremlin-men.  Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle.
