Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

Being chased by the Mundanity Police.  I’m running, leaping, scrambling over rooftops.  Helicopter searchlights are steady on me; the droning THUP-THUP-THUP of their rotors sound out the bleak imminence of my impending capture.  “KENT WAYNE.  YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR REFUSING TO BOW BEFORE THE LITERATI ESTABLISHMENT.  YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF UNWILLINGNESS TO USE TRENDY TOPICS AND MANNERISMS, PROPER GRAMMAR, AS WELL AS THE CAPITAL OFFENSE OF THINKING YOU HAVE SOMETHING NEW TO OFFER.  SURRENDER YOURSELF.”  Open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  A phantom Dick Cheney voice is conjured and booms in the air: “We are facing a plethora of middle-class workers that require economic suppression.  All dystopian security forces are to temporarily cease activities against Kent Wayne and report back to headquarters.”  Helicopter peels away and leaves me be.  Whew!

When you’re being chased by the forces o’ friggin’ darkness there’s only one answer:  Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle.
