Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

Walking my 10 lb. terrier mix, Bitefighter, all smiles and tiny feet.  Suddenly, a fat, orange tabby cat blocks our way.  We don’t want trouble so we turn back to avoid him.  Whoa—five more cats.  Same to the left, same to the right.  I turn back to the tabby.  It speaks in a hissing whisper:  “Long have the Dog People and your filthy companions been a sore upon this world.  That ends today.”  A massive yowl and they’re all over me—pummeling…scratching….there’s just…too…many…my eReader drops open to Echo.  Magic flash.  Out of the corner of my eye I see Bitefighter being encased in robotic armor—each segment clanks into place with unimaginable coolness.  The final piece is his visor, and once its down it glows with badass green light.  Stone-faced, my little dog fights the felines off with servo-enhanced kicks and punches.  After his first combo he pauses, extends one forepaw, grasps it with the other, and a mist of chain-programmably explosive riot pellets explodes from it and sends the cats reeling back.  He activates thrusters, jets by me, and clutches the back of my neck, carrying us both to safety.

When you’re really in trouble…you NEED a little mecha-dog by your side.  Echo Vol. 1 is FREE on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle.
