Motha duckin’ hipsters have taken over! Scarf-wearing, beret-touting police are after me for not being ironic enough and for having too much muscle tone. They scream, “By the love of all that’s alternative, WHERE ARE YOUR HORN-RIMMED GLASSES?” I’m being chased through an alley, eyes wide, lungs burning. Open my eReader to Echo. Magic flash. They stop dead and so do I; in front of me is a stupidly awesome sight: The body of Shaft under the head of Clark Kent. The Shaft/Kent says (in Shaft-voice). “I got your glasses right here.” It removes its horn-rimmed glasses and blasts my pursuers with heat vision.
Let me say right now: I’m not wearing a damn scarf. Echo Vol. 1 is $0.99 on Kindle here: Vol. 1 on Kindle. Vol. 2 on Kindle here: Vol.2 on Kindle.
Just about as “edge-of-your-seat” ad Echo! 😮

I haven’t read Echo but if it’s as awesome as this intro then I’ll get on it right away

Thanks! (It’s probably not, haha!) But I have gotten better, and I’m told it gets better the more you read! 😉

Echo 1 was interesting. Echo 2 was gripping and I had a hard time putting it down. It also left me with a hunger for Echo 3. Although Echo 1 isn’t up to par with 2, I’d definitely recommend reading 1 first.

Thanks Bobby!!! Yep, Echo 1 was my first crack at fiction; where I was trying to find my footing as far as flow and what I could get away with versus how to keep things coherent and interesting. Apologies if the prose was rough!

Okay, you’ve had a long string of muscled heroes saving the day.. Time for something different like, oh I don’t know, the power of Bambi or a Pikachou/Pengu hybrid. Is it always going to be ripped goons?

Haha! Man I don’t even keep track, I just dream up whatever annoys me at the second! I’ll keep in mind to try and switch it up a bit. But hey, hipsters aren’t muscled! 😀

Thank You Angela—I’m just the annoying art director who demanded revisions and nagged my artist for the correct composition; the real credit belongs to emilianohc on Fiverr.com!
