A gang of the Dull, the Uninspired, are leading a siege against Santa’s home.  His elves have manned fortifications, and are blazing grimly away with assault rifles and emplaced machine guns, but they’re falling steadily.  I run up to their leader, a battle-hardened little fella who’s smoking a stogie and whose face is coated in grime.  “Here!” I chuck my eReader (open to Echo of course) his way, and it flashes with magic.  Suddenly the elves are coated in glowing, circuitry-threaded crystal armor, and they’re clutching blazing weapons of pure energy.  An LOTR roar rises from their ranks and they charge into their attackers, breaking their siege.
