I’m at a drive-thru.  For some reason, I ask for Zen themes, with a side of cyborgs and quantum tech.  A wizened old man eyes me shrewdly from behind the counter.

“Have you read Echo?” He asks.

We stare at each other.  I don’t have to say anything, he can tell.  He whips me up what he calls an “EchoBurger.”  When he hands me the crumply paper bag, it glows like Marsellus Wallace’s briefcase.  After eating this delicious and strange meat, my abs instantly puff out in sharp relief; I’m ripped.
