OK, as promised, here’s my review of “Echo Volume 1: Approaching Shatter”.
I copied the text of my review on my blog into my Amazon review of the book, and I’ll post a link to it when it goes live.
I didn’t think the novel was perfect, so sorry to say, I didn’t give it five stars. On the other hand, I am an honest reviewer and did share what I liked and where I thought it could have been better.
In a way, I feel like I’m shooting myself in the foot. Assuming I ever get any of my fiction writing published, I’m going to probably end up taking less than stellar reviews as well. On the other hand, I’ve been a published author for nearly 15 years (though not in fiction) and I already know how that feels.
I saved the “silver lining” part for the end of my review.

Please don’t take the less than five stars (I gave you four) and my criticisms personally. I actually felt a little guilty, but on the other hand, in your shoes, I’d want people to review me honestly. I hope I conveyed respect in what I’ve written.
