Echo Vol.1: Now $.99 and Why

Hello all!  I’ve reduced Echo Vol.1 to $.99:  Echo Volume 1 on Amazon.  The reason was that I’ve had some complaints from readers about its incompleteness; how it ends with a cliffhanger.  It’s also kind of short—47k words, or barely just qualifying as a novel (according to wikipedia).  So I’ve reduced it because like other short stories and novellas, I feel that it should be comparably priced.  The only reason I had it as $2.99 in the beginning was because of some articles that said that $2.99 actually garnered more exposure and interest, but after looking at the success of Hugh Howey and Andy Weir at their $.99 price points, I felt that it was appropriate to reduce price.  Also—you ever just get one of those gut feelings?  I had one of those at the gym this morning.

Anyways, sorry if you feel gipped because you bought it at the original $2.99 price point.  I promise to keep everything to four volumes, and to have none of them individually go above $2.99.  Hard at work on the 3rd volume as we speak!  3’s got a lot of Verus in it, and she’s gonna be kicking buttocks, so I hope you guys are okay with that!  Plus I have plans for something extremely cool which I have tentatively phrased a “blaze avatar.”  Can’t wait to have you guys take a look!  Thanks everybody, for all your support so far!

      • Well it’s cool that that you are repricing the book for the market. Amazon does it all the time. In fact give your first book free if new customers buy the second for a day and see what happens. Of
Course alert all your followers first. Or make your second one free for a day when they buy your third. This is marketing I learnt at the London book fair last year.
Fair do’s is a British idiom
That we use when we tell another person that they are being fair.
        See no magic.
So basically my ‘Merican friend it’s appreciation of your fairness from a equally dumb Brit.
