I’m at the DMV trying to clear up registration issues.  Five hours have passed and they say it’s going to be another five.  Mind.  Melting.  Can’t.  Keep.  Holding.  On.  My eReader, open to Echo, flashes with magic light.  Suddenly, a horse-sized Labrador gallops in.  Eyes widen, mouths open in shock.  The dog speaks to me: “My name is Grimstroke.  You need no car, brave human.  I will be your loyal transport.”  I climb on his back.  Before he leaves, he leaps behind the counter, where four clerks are taking a nap, and leaves a giant dooker.  We ride into the sunset and quest on.
