Check out my sci-fi series: Echo!

Echo is where I started my writing journey. The series has four books, and is filled with musings on society and existence, along with big doses of violence (especially in book 2) as well as psychic stuff and existential philosophy (book 3 and 4). You can see me get a firmer grip on dialogue, description, action, perspective, and symbolism as you progress through the series.

Here’s the link: Echo.

      • You are welcome. I finished the first book and enjoyed it; quite a page-turner. I also finished the second book and also liked it and see what you mean about it being “pretty much a giant battle.” I don’t think I would have enjoyed book two as much as a stand-alone thing, but in my mind I thought about books 1-2 basically being one longer book and it worked for me.

I’m just getting into book three now and am liking your expansion on the philosophic/psychic stuff that you touched on in the earlier books (esp. book 1).

      • Awesome! Most people seem to be the opposite in that book 2 is really their thing, but I’m glad you have an affinity for the philosophy and magic. It’s really what I was leading towards the whole time. Book 3 was also my first time portraying Echo as a whole, instead of a narrow slice of Atriya’s soldierly life, so I also kind of feel like it’s where the story begins to really become three-dimensional. Glad you’re enjoying it!!
