Musings

When times are good, take advantage of the option to bend voluntarily, to venture outside the comfort zone so you can gradually strengthen yourself without irreparably traumatizing yourself.

When times are bad, you will be bent whether you wish it or not.  And those who have developed the composure/flexibility to bend with the times will surf adversity and find opportunity.  Others will be pushed beneath the waves.

  1. I was mowing the other day and ran over some weeds..plants that grow anywhere and aren’t put there on purpose. The mower didn’t cut them, they bounced back 3 inches tall and left a beautiful scent behind. I think that is like your thought. Be flexible, be strong, leave a beautiful fragrance when trampled…so, be a weed? :o)
