The game is rigged. We all die. And the end can come a hell of a lot sooner than any of us expect.
So take stock of what you have, aim as best you can, and take a shot at achieving your goals. There’s no reason not to go for it.
Not tomorrow, not the day after. TODAY.
Because the game is rigged.

It is on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, and Google Play! Please give it a listen and a five-star review! Here’s the miscellaneous gear that I use to try and become an uber-human: Optimization! 🙂 🙂 😀
Hold on! I just got approved to be an Amazon affiliate! If you’re going to buy ANY product from Amazon, and you’d like to support my efforts for absolutely free, then simply click on one of the Echo links I’ve provided—they’ll send you to Echo’s Amazon page—and THEN buy whatever product you wish. Amazon gives me a small referral fee each time this happens! In this manner you can support my books, musings, podcast, zany ads, or my adventures along the noble path known as The Way of The Man Child WITHOUT spending any more money than you were already going to! Should you do this, I vow to send you a silent blessing, causing your genitals to adopt the optimum size, shape, smell, and death-ray attachment of choice that paralyzes your enemies with fear and envy! Entire worlds will bow before your nether parts! 😲💪 😜
The game, if there is one, is in your mind. We create our own games and play them as if they matter. Which, of course, they don’t. Except to us, while we briefly endure this mortal coil.
The folly is thinking that our games retain ultimate meaning. If you choose to pursue your dreams, your goals, realize that even then, in the end, they are pointless.
Understanding such futility, acknowledging it, yet pursuing our goals nonetheless — that is the trick, in that we demonstrate our mastery of fate.
So, in essence, yes, our games are rigged; admit that and roll the loaded dice regardless.

Exactly. Have fun pretending that a magical reality (even the premises of science are inherently marvelous) is something to be taken seriously.

The game has added spice because of the rigged rules. Measured in seconds the length of our stay should clarify the efforts.

That’s why I prefer life to move organically and not to force life to happen my way. When I force something to happen, all sorts of nasty unexpected consequences occur and then I have to fix the mess I started.

I’ve only recently come around to that view. My natural instinct is to try and force things. 😅
