What the sky-hook-to-helo-to-horseback-to-the-top-of-a-bullet-train duel is happening, all you badass action heroes who are throwing hands with a pony-tailed villain from the early 90s, as the train screams through a darkened tunnel it emerges onto a picturesque rail hundreds of feet above water but for some godawful action movie reason, it’s running out of track, so as your enemy chokes the shit out of you, you unzip your pants, reach in through the hole in the front of your undies (Ha! Knew it had a purpose!) and pull out your giant-ass scrotum as if it was an extra wrinkly, extra hairy version of a magician’s unending scarf—
FOOMP!
—then grab them shits with both hands and turn it into an impromptu parachute, the wind yanks you back into the sunny blue sky, your attacker shakes his fist and screams DAMN YOU, DAMN YOU TO HELL as you soar away on the ugliest organ spawned by the human body while coming in hot with an 80s-style one-liner (“No balls,” and “Sack the fuck up” come to mind) the train bows again to action movie physics and explodes into a fucking mushroom-cloud fireball right as it touches the water below—
And THAT, my friends, is why you don’t talk shit about the hole in your undies! Who the fuck knows when you’ll have to pull out the scrotal parachute and break free from the grasp of a eurotrash villain???

I have to admit I love your attention grabbing emails and they crack me up every time I read them and are one of the few that I don’t just delete outright, so there’s that LOL. I believe once I even spit some coffee out reading one.
I just downloaded both of your books in the Echo series and I’m looking forward to finally reading them and will absolutely give an honest review.
I’m currently having my manuscript edited which is a YA maritime fantasy and would love for you to give it a read when it’s ready if you’re interested. I can give you more details as they come, and if you’re not interested in reading mine that’s totally cool I get it. I will still happily give you an honest review.
Please keep those attention grabbing emails coming I love reading them and getting your updates!
Cheers!

Thanks! I’ve also got a YA fantasy series, and coincidentally, the second book has a big focus on the maritime aspect of it. I really dig the fun and adventure aspect of it, as well as the freshness of writing from a younger man’s perspective.
Let me know when your book is for sale and I’ll be the first to buy it! As far as reviews, I always give five stars unless I don’t like the story, in which case I just don’t post a review. I hope that’s okay by you!

Of course that’s okay, more than okay thank you so much!!! Will do the same!
Once I finish with Echo I’ll be sure to check out your other series. I enjoy reading YA fantasy even though I’m a grown woman, LOL!
My 11yo son really got me into it, even though he is moving into LOTR. I definitely wasn’t reading Tolkien at 11, lol.
I also, obviously enjoy maritime fantasy and look forward to reading yours!!
My first book is still being edited, (painfully slow process) but I have outlined the plot and major story arcs for the second book, with higher stakes, more characters and way more adventure. This first book is almost like a prologue for the rest of the story. Complete within itself, but setting up a huge adventure for book 2 and possibly more after.
Thanks again!

No need to power through Echo if you don’t vibe with it. If you’re into YA fantasy, it might not be your cup of tea, it’s pretty dark and violent. I won’t mind. 😊
Kudos to your son for reading LOTR! I did it a bunch of times as a kid, and while I appreciate it as a groundbreaker, I just couldn’t get into it because they read too much like a historical text. Loved the movies, though! I actually made fun of it a bit in vol 2 of my YA fantasy series. The hero is a kid from Earth who portaled over to another world, he’s explaining LOTR to his fantasy-world friends, and in the middle he mumbles, how many times do I have to read about a mountain, or some random guy’s entire family tree? 😅
It sounds like you’re really invested and excited in writing your series! That’s awesome!! I kind of had the same idea for my series, where book 1 is a setup for the world, the character’s trajectories, and changes in perspective. Book 2 is where I go all in on the dungeon crawls, pirate raids, magic items, and the like.
Great to connect with you! I’m looking forward to reading and reviewing your book!!
