The series has four books, and is filled with musings on society and existence, along with big doses of violence (especially in book 2) as well as psychic stuff and existential philosophy (book 3 and 4). Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of A Door into Evermoor. It was written six years later than Echo, so I was able to write it with greater skill and more nuance. It is a definite change in tone, though, as Echo is pretty R-rated and A Door into Evermoor is solidly in the Young Adult category.
