  1. Ideally it needs to be primarily the former with a little of the latter. That way you see opportunities and the potential pitfalls between you and the opportunity (and work around them).

  2. I was answering “author” questions on Goodreads and one of them asked “What do you do when you have writers block?” I had no answer for this question but I’d be interested to know yours. It seems to me your are a virtual exploding geyser of activity. What’s your secret?

    • Write badly, it can be edited later. If you are stuck, copy others ideas and put your own slightly different twist on them, because as you edit, you can keep making it more and more different until it becomes something else altogether.
