News:  The job search has concluded!  I will start in a job THIS TUESDAY!!!  And it’s a job that actually uses my degree and has a lot of growth potential.  I’m glad all those years of school actually counted for something; I was afraid I was gonna end up like those philosophy Phds that end up driving a cab.

So that means until Tuesday, I’m gonna be brushing up on some job-related skills (Excel) and taking a hiatus on writing.  I figure for the next month or two, I’ll be writing sporadically, but mostly I’ll be focused on proving to my new employers that I’m not a (complete) idiot.  The job listing actually called for someone with experience, but with the aid of my quicksilver tongue and big sexy brain, I was able to make the case that they should give me a chance.
