Kor’Thank word count: 19,542 Echo Vol.4: I’m on my fourth pass, 48th chapter (out of 98)
Thanks to All Who Bought Echo! And BIG THANKS to those who posted positive reviews on Amazon or Goodreads!!!
News: It’s spring break so I’ve got a little reprieve. I plan to use it by getting my taxes done, letting myself sleep in a bit, and attempting to stick to my old schedule of editing 10k words a day, minimum.
Just shot the Echo 4 cover requirements over to my author, and as soon as that’s finalized, I’ll show you guys what it looks like (it’s kind of a pivotal scene in Atriya’s development, and of course it’s an action scene). Once it’s good, I plan to get to work prepping Echo 3 for paperback release. Formatting shouldn’t be so big of an issue this time around (I think I’ve figured all that out from the recent Echo 1 and 2 paperback release), so all’s I plan on doing is implementing my copy editor’s corrections, squaring away that paperback cover jpeg, then getting it out there. The whole time—of course—I plan on continuing to draft Kor’Thank and edit Echo 4.
That’s it for now. The grind continues! If you’re a writer, then I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!!! 🙂 🙂 😀
When do you breathe?

What is your usual word count? When I am coming up with new material, I’d like to try around 500 words a day, unless I’m coming toward the end of the work and then it slows down some.

I’ve varied it; the most I’ve done is 3500 words a day but I ended up with a lot of filler, so I think the best way to go is around 500-1000 words a day, with editing every day as well.
