Okay, here’s the latest:ย  the new proof copy looks good.ย  But when I tried to hit publish, they wouldn’t do it because I have interrupted pagination.ย  I have interrupted pagination because I have two volumes combined together in this book, so after volume 1, I still have the afterword and notes and stuff but they don’t have pages; I wanted the pages purely restricted to story content.ย  However, Amazon doesn’t like that; they want uninterrupted pagination whether it’s story content or not.ย  That means that I’m going to go back to the file, make sure there’s uninterrupted pagination, order another proof, and hit publish if it looks good.

Just another step in the struggles of a beginning writer.ย  It’s all goodโ€”things are moving!ย  If you’re waiting for the paperback, thanks for being patient!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Sounds familiar. They did the same thing to me with Jotunhall, because the appendices were numbered separately. Ah, well.

  2. That is a great feeling holding your creation. I just have one question. How many nights of the year did you put into this effort ? Best wishes always. Mike.
