Quality is assured through meticulous editing, while workable material is assured through constant drafting. So it naturally follows that if I want to publish quality material on a regular basis, I must be constant in drafting, and ruthless in editing.
But above all, I must always, ALWAYS be drafting. Otherwise, there is nothing to edit.

Enjoy! I have a theory that the best parts of writing are the first and last 10%…the first 10% where you draft, and the last 10% where it comes together.

Interesting theory! I’m an aspiring fiction editor, so I actually adore the improvement process, but everything coming together is starting to sound *really* appealing. For that matter, so is drafting.
