  1. I tried to leave a comment on the first chapter of The Unbound Relm but wasn’t able to. I have just started (chapter 1) I love the fact that it is in first person. Sometimes that particular point of view doesn’t work because you really can’t relate to the character. But John was spot on. He had just the right amount of sarcasm. My favorite line was about the Dr. Strange and the monastery. I haven’t read the next chapter but the first one left me wanting to. I was intrigued especially with the two-word contract. I can’t wait to see where we go.

      Yeah, I’ve been in Jon’s shoes, and from what I can tell, a lot of people have. That’s why I figured it would be a nice starting point, because it’s a relatable situation. Glad I could nail the tone–it’s been twenty years since I’ve been a teenager, lol! I’m trying to channel the early issues of Ultimate Spider Man into Jon’s voice.
