Just threw up Chapter 5 of my YA fantasy series, the Unbound Realm!  It’s still pretty rough–it’s only got one edit so far–but I’m starting to get into the meat of the story.

Part of why I picked YA fantasy was that I felt I was good enough (I hope!) to write a story without a bunch of swearing and violence, and instead focus on the traditional character stuff, but also capitalize on the sweeping settings and sense of adventure I used to get from the fantasies I loved as a kid and a teen.  Here’s the link:  The Unbound Realm, Chapter 5
