Atriya hated the moments before a fight.

The talking.

The posturing.

The thinly veiled threats.

But when the first strike landed, all of that vanished.

A crushed nose.

Blood hitting pavement.

In those moments there were no politics, no ideology, no rings demanding tribute.

Just bodies moving.

Just survival.

Atriya launched forward.

The alley exploded into motion.

When words end, truth begins.
