Musings

My view of abundance is that it isn’t just about resources and time, but an abundance of possibility–I believe good can become bad, but more importantly, that bad can become good.

Practically, that boils down to staying present and open, so my creativity, imagination, and spontaneous inspiration can sync with my perception and plans. Instead of restricting myself with preconceived stories about how it has to be, or how it’s going to be, I like to remain conscious of potential and flow.

  1. Reminds me of the idea I got from Unchained Leader that we tell ourselves stories based on our perceptions and they are usually lies we tell ourselves to rationalize inappropriate reaction. We cannot control our circumstances but we can control our reactions to them.

  2. Exactly, my point too. My latest story is a–sorry I had to let my cat in–case in point where I was stuck how best to put her into a place. She has no money, yet she will find a means to that end based solely on my own experiences of scammers on social media taking advantage or duping older men into sending her money just for a show.

  3. Ah, but good and bad are subject to perception. What is good for you, may be bad for somebody else and vice versa. Conceptually, this is a wonderful idea to play around with and offers plenty of opportunities in the writing arena. In reality, I just keep asking myself, “What would Darth Vader do(?)” then do the opposite.
