This is true. In fact I read somewhere that the only wisdom you should follow is the one that has survived the test of the time.

I think if ideas are to be taken seriously, they should be put into everyday practice! I get a great deal of inspiration reading the wisdom of ancients too — especially the Stoics, and more recently, the masters of Zen.

Indeed! I think it’s kind of necessary, and I think it happens naturally with successful people who might not even have any idea of these lessons.
