Word count, Vol.4: ย 200,507

Thanks to All Who Bought Echo! ย And BIG THANKS to Melissa, Barbara, Ian, Lorna, [anonymous], Lisa, Meg, Matt, Bobby, F.T., Alice Smith, Leslie Coop, Richard, Shauna, Sydney, Pam, Jessica, Angela, Kiesa, Ross, Keith, Alice, Daina, Daniel, Yolanda, Trace and Books4me for posting AMAZING reviews on Amazon!!! ย Ashley too for the 5 star on Nook! ย Iโ€™d like to reiterate that leaving a positive review for any author is the equivalent of leaving $100 tip at a restaurant (I know some authors whoโ€™d actuallyย pay thatย much for a good review). ย Although I sincerely appreciate any love you leave me on Amazon, please consider leaving a review for ANYย author you know, simply as a random act of kindnessโ€ฆbecause itโ€™ll mean the worldย to โ€™em! ย (A good place to start areย those Iโ€™ve listedโ€”a few of them are authors. ย Let me know if you want me to put you in touch with โ€™em and Iโ€™ll be more than happy to do so! ย And no, you donโ€™t need to have purchased their book to leave a review on Amazon; you simply needed to have used Amazon at one time or another to leave whatโ€™s called an โ€œunverified purchaseโ€ review. ย If you purchased their book at the store or on another eReader, you can still leave a review for them.)

News: ย The wrists were burning last week from my increased word count, but they feel fine today. ย I think I can keep going at 17500 words/week right now. ย I’d like to one day be able to beastmode it like Michael Crichton and be able to do 10k in a day.

Volume 4 is a monster. ย 200k words and I’m still in the beginning of the third act. ย I’m gonna HAVE to chop it down severely in the edit or publish it in two volumes. ย We’ll see when time comes; as I’m now working with a paperback publisher, I’ll have to run it through the publisher’s editor and then find a workable solution.

Right now I’m trying to fit it all in: ย Frozen music! ย Astral combat! ย The Answer To Everything! ย Gaaah! ย I wanted to knock this out under six months from my last publish date, but that’s looking increasingly unlikely. ย Regardless, this is the final volume in this series, and I gotta make sure it’s done right. ย It seems like the last installment of most multi-volume stories screw it up in one fashion or another.

Anyways, that’s it for now! ย If you are a writer, then I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!

  1. As Books4Me, I really am looking forward to finishing. However, I may not read the third one til the 4th is done. I’m going to let him sleep for a bit til his next chapter (and maybe I can learn how to spell his name!!!!!!!!!!!).

    1. No problem! I’m honored that you read any of ’em at all, much less put up reviews for them! Book 3 gets weirdโ€”it’s where I start playing with the magical element a lot more. So if either the grisly madness of book 2 or the weirdness of book 3 grates on you then I apologize. Thanks again Kris!! ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. Thank You! Really just my take on the hero analogue. Hopefully I’m able to successfully fit in a believable system of magic and the answer to everything in this series, haha!
