Man Child Monday #2: Kent Wayne’s Super-Secret Patented Secret to Writing a Fight Scene

Some of you writers have asked meย how I write fight scenes. ย Well, first you gotta tap into sheer rage. ย Here’s meโ€”yourย favorite author and perennial Man Child Kent Wayneโ€”utilizing a time-honored method for tapping into that eye-throbbing, world-crushing anger. ย Photo taken by friend and Cool Guy Jumar Balacy.

  2. I love your friend! True friendship is when one can photograph the absurd and make fun. You, my dear, Kent, are a silly joy! (Boy?) I giggled when I saw the magnifying glass.

    1. Thank You! Man Child Mondays really came about because I was trying to figure out a way to personalize myself, stay anonymous, and tap into the power of selfies without resorting to banality. I’m glad you find it amusing! I have to focus on not laughing when I’m posing! ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. I focus on laughing when I look at what you are doing. You are the most personable anonymous author I have never met. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

      2. Thank You, haha! That’s the goalโ€”not a big fan of food pics and videos of people going to the mall. I like delivering contentโ€”crass though it might beโ€”in my social media ventures

      4. Nice! Yeah I actually wind my evenings down trying NOT to think about robots or cool violence…usually end up watching mind of a chef, haha!

      5. Oddly, I don’t watch TV. OK, here at my mum’s I do. She is a sports aficionado (or she thinks she knows!).

      6. I can only do bits and pieces now. Ironically I do it more out of duty than entertainment nowadays…I try to keep abreast on what kind of pop culture people like so I can make sure my books stay relevant

      7. Go retro. It is the thing! I walked thru a clothing section of a store and was hit broadside by the 70’s.

      8. Haha it is, isn’t it? Crazy how people fickle get about that stuff…like they have to take a retro break before they can get back to inventing more wackiness
