Me. I edit until my eyes bleed. I read it over and over until it feels right. I call my method “brute-force editing,” haha!

Me too! Though I’ve been flirting with legitimizing my author gig by getting an editor. I found one who’s not too expensive. Hoping he does good work.

I don’t think I could stand anything more than a copy editor…I feel like editing is the majority of writing (in my case anyway)

I agree with you. I met an author online who spent $7500 to have an editor rewrite his book before he published it. After all that, is it even his book anymore?
