DOGS!  WHY HAVE YOU TURNED AGAINST ME???  I’m being chased through the park by a pack of red-eyed canines.  They’re doing that thing where their lips peel ALL the way back, showing their teeth in full relief.  Suddenly I rush past a group of cats and chihuahas (Ha!  I KNEW they worked together!) that are….chortling?  In their tiny paws are remote controls that have blinking diodes attached to ’em.  I look back at my doggy pursuers and see that they’re all fitted with mini radar-dish headgear.  Gotcha!  I open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  A batarang flies through the air, destroying the dog’s mind-control helmets in one impressive arc.  Me and my goofus buddies charge the chihuahas and cats and they take off in super-small jetpacks like cut-rate Bond villains, snarling at us as all the while.

    Man seriously. I just read that preview and already I want to read more. I’ll be checking this out as soon as I can. Also the cover is very unique. You know here’s some food for thought. they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but when you’re trying to convey the story through an image isn’t that what you’re tying to do, capture the reader’s attention with a symbolic symbol? Think of the cover of the Great Gatsby. So much meaning behind that. Now I could be wrong about this… especially because I just got up. haha. Anyways keep up the great work. =)

      No I totally agree. My artists are sick of me nagging them for revisions so I can capture the themes. It’s why I tip them extra, haha!

    Yeah I know right. XD Artists are truly underpaid and overworked. XD I’m reminded of your previous musing. Art is a passion and like a tool it’s a skill that must be carefully sharpened to be top notch.

      Yeah, the crazy part is some arts need CONSTANT sharpening; I’m told stand-up comedy is one of them.

    Finally read Volume One! It’s been sitting on my Kindle waiting for the perfect moment, and it has come. A little annoyed you leaving me falling off a cliff there at the end- but I respect it 😉 (I did appreciate your explanation in the awknowledgements).
    I’m off to grab Volume Two, and hope Three is close to a release… unless I missed that it was…

      Thank You So Much! And sorry for the cliffhanger…it was partly an experiment to see if anybody would like my stuff at all! Three is maybe a month or two from being released; it’s already done and going through its edits.
