I work out at the campus gym in between classes to save some time. I’m using the shower, letting the stress slough off, when suddenly a quartet of Bros busts in and buckets me with ice-cold water. They sprint off, laughing, and after a half-second of shock I’m furious and running after them. Immediately outside the locker room is an attractive lady who sees my luscious package. She licks her lips, which I take as an awesome compliment, but suddenly she’s drowning and choking from her overactive salivary glands. Balls! I stop and render aid, bringing her back to life, and then go put on my shorts and keep running after the Bros. After exiting the gym and turning a corner, I see them nearing the top of the hill, looking back, laughing, about to make their escape. What do you know: Got my eReader in my pocket. I open it to Echo. Magic flash. Batman appears and beats the piss out of them. We close the distance and shake hands. “Thanks Bats,” I say, eyes widening in awe. “Man, someday I wanna be like you.” He looks down at the cloth of my shorts that show a hint of how I’ve been blessed by nature. “Son,” he says, “If I had that thing I wouldn’t be so angry, and I’d ditch this damn suit.”
Wow! It’s not everyday that you can make Batman jealous. Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here: Vol. 1 on Kindle. Vol. 2 on Kindle here: Vol.2 on Kindle.
