Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

Chimps:  Dangerous as hell if you didn’t know.  Anyway, I’m at the gym doing squats.  My butt’s in the pocket and I’m pushing up, but it’s too heavy-feels like I’m gonna die.  An army of chimps bust in and start rending gym-goers’ flesh.  My eReader, open to Echo, magically lights up.  Bright flash.  I look down in amazement:  I’m in a manga-style robotic suit.  I easily throw the weight off me and start mowing down chimps using pulse cannons engineered with Schwarzschild-Rosen energies.  Not today, banana-eaters.
