You’re Not Lost — You’re Ignoring Something

You’re not lost.

It just feels that way.

Because when something in your life doesn’t fit…

your first instinct isn’t to question it.

It’s to fix yourself.

You assume:
you’re overthinking
you’re being dramatic
you just need to push through

So you adjust.

You adapt.

You try to make it work.

And for a while… it does.

At least on the surface.

But underneath it?

That feeling doesn’t go away.

It shows up in quiet moments.

When everything is still.

When you’re not distracted.

When you’re not performing.

That’s when it hits.

Not loudly.

Not dramatically.

Just a quiet realization:

this isn’t right.

Most people stop there.

They feel it…

and then immediately bury it.

Because following that thought is uncomfortable.

It forces you to ask questions you don’t want answers to.

Like:

What if the path you’re on isn’t yours?

What if the version of life you’re building…
isn’t the one you were meant to live?

That’s not an easy thought to sit with.

So most people don’t.

But the people who do?

The ones who don’t look away?

They’re the ones who change everything.

That’s where this story begins.

Not with power.
Not with adventure.

But with a moment most people ignore.

True thoughts. Don’t look away! I’m pushing 73 years on this earth. Believe me, if I hadn’t already asked myself many of these questions, I would find it hard to ask them now. So keep on looking and asking. Keep on examining! Peace.

  6. This really resonated with me. That quiet moment where you realize something isn’t right… I think that’s where a lot of us either wake up or choose to look away. I’ve learned recently that instead of trying to fix everything, sometimes the real work is surrendering it and trusting God with what doesn’t fit anymore.

  7. I try to look for what doesn’t fit in my life and understand why…

  8. Beautifully put. I wonder why too many of us feel like this? I know I do.

If there’s conflict in a relationship, if I’m treated poorly, I default to assuming I’ve made a mistake somewhere. Then I start to hustle.

It takes me a long time to accept the idea that the issue might not lie with me.

    How curious that is.

  9. Yes not with power, not with adventure but witching asking the right questions in the right moment #Deep

  10. This is deeply sharp..

  11. Deep.
