Musings

Due to the well-being that arises when my mind is empty, I’ve come to suspect that well-being is actually the default state–that it needn’t be justified or defended, and all that it requires is unobstructed passage to make itself felt.

Or I could exist in an internal state of paranoia and sacrifice. Always justifying, always guarding, always ready to oppress any potential oppressors, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’ve done that for a good portion of my life. At this point, I prefer to assume that my natural abidance is in a different state of existence.

  1. Agreed. Imagine how different things would be if wellbeing was the default state. For humanity, for the world.

I’m pretty sure that less distracted/intense lifestyles were historically the norm for the most of humanity’s time, and I’m pretty sure wellbeing wasn’t always the huge concern that it is today. Wellbeing and undistracted living could very well be the natural ways. What an idea to imagine!

  2. Good thoughts indeed Mate.
To Hell with Em’ I say, and to Hell with everyone who doesn’t wish me well.

These simple commands clear out all thought nasties and worries pretty quickly I find. Worries stem from attachments, attachment is arguably the root of all fear.

No stake in the outcome(s) all and any, plus practising non attachment keeps me humble, grateful, and quite thoughtless, which is wonderful.
