It’s kind of a dirty secret, but I really enjoyed writing Apex. The story up until then had been so damn serious, so even though he was a psychotic murder-bot, I really liked how he lightened up the mood. Also he was my first stab at humor (in writing), and I was happy with how he came out. 😅

Thank you! Echo’s a bit angry and dark, especially for the first two, but it gets pretty psychedelic and existential in the last two. I can’t stand a sad ending! 😅
