If someone is better than me at something, then that means they can teach me a lesson. If someone is a screw-up, they can serve as a cautionary tale. Either way they can still help me, and I get to improve no matter what.
There’s no need to hold a grudge or be vindictive; there’s too much to learn, too much to accomplish.
A great lesson – if only everyone thought this way we would live in a better world.

Unfortunately, I’m very slow to forget. I think the word “grudge” is a strong word, but I will not deny my failure to completely “forgive and forget”. That is something that I should probably work on a bit harder. The point you make here is very true. I would probably be even more learned if I was more open to those I consider idiots and a$$holes.

Thanks for your “like.” I like this post.
I’d follow your blog if it didn’t require Facebook or Twitter, both of which are on my no-go list.

Does it require facebook? I think you can follow just the wordpress site. Regardless, thanks for the support! 🙂
