I’ve found that when I act solely in line with my comforts and fears, I usually get led into a spiral of anxiety and misery. But when I act in line with my convictions, I sleep well, and experience a harmony which makes the temporary setbacks well worth it.
You often have a temperance of stoic fortitude in your musings, my friend.

I’m a big fan of stoicism! Yeah, I guess I totally agree that I could make a solid case that others are at fault for my misfortunes, but in practical terms, I’m still left with the same questions: What do I do about it? How can I personally take ownership and affect the situation to induce a positive outcome?

For me a good night’s sleep is always assured by being awake during the day to the world around me. There are so many living in a clockwork world.
