Musings

I see the end of my life kinda like the end of my day:  do I look at myself and feel satisfied with my effort?  Or do I leave the field with regrets and misgivings?  The cool thing is that choice is continually given to us—every second, every moment, every INSTANT.  There are two things that will never be in doubt:  The inevitability of failure…

And the certainty of opportunity.

  1. So beautiful and true. The surest way to fail is to never try. The worst way to fail is to convince yourself you can’t 😦 My dad always said “no plan is a plan to fail” and also “if you believe in nothing, you’ll fall for anything” To me, finding love, being love, connecting with love is the only way I can actually walk, run, dance, sing or breathe. It’s also the lie I convinced myself I couldn’t have, or did not deserve. That is when the way really gets lost… I love your musings, they’re so thought provoking!

  2. There are more than two. Drive through coffee at a non-coffee place will usually taste like rust and ass, broadcast media will play more commercials than content and your underwear will continue to stick to you long after your car has cooled off. We could collaborate, do a list sometime. 😉

  3. I expect everyone has an element of regret, it’s a by product of imagination. One can say ‘what happens happens’ and ‘it is what it ease’ and other trite ways to make it through.. However we don’t always take every chance, we don’t always win every battle.. This leaves a tinge of regret if we accept it or not.
