I feel that it’s important to constantly try and pare myself down—to know myself at my deepest levels. Because if at my core I am an all-powerful, all-knowing being, then why fret over a bit of self-exploration and discipline?
When you consider what those practices yield, the choice becomes easy.

This reminds me of the Monster’s quote from Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein “Beware For I am Powerful and therefore fearless.” Once we know our own limits fear becomes meaningless thus throwing caution to the wind we can do anything we set our mind too.

Indeed! And knowing our own limits is a constant thing as we change and expand. KInd of a neverending game that really should just be enjoyed for its own sake!
