Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

I’m at the water park, chilling in the wave pool, when a bunch of punk teenagers surround me, look me in the eye, and chuckle evilly.  What the hell?  I look around and notice the water turn yellow-brown as they flood it with piss (I know:  That is a LOT of urine).  I clench my teeth in disgust and swim to the side.  They’re all howling with laughter.  I open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  Suddenly a giant hand reaches down from the sky and scoops ’em up.  It stuffs them into an overflowing porta-potty and slams the door on ’em as they’re screaming and trying to wiggle out.  It picks up the blue-white stall and shakes it like a frat boy arming a beer can to spray all over his friends.  I hear vomiting and fists pounding the walls from inside the porta-potty.  After a few seconds, it turns to sobbing and pleading.  Now it’s MY turn to express an evil chuckle.

    The first thing I thought when reading this? “Oh my God those kids need to hydrate!” Very clever post… will definitely read Echo rather than pee in the pool.

        That was my sense and one of the things I like — someone who can be dark and funny has got to be a great storyteller 🙂

        Hahaha! Thank You So Much! I’m doing a horrible job of advertising myself here, but another warning: It’s my first attempt at fiction so the writing may be a little bumpy, haha! 🙂
