Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

A gang of literature elitists have got me cuffed and on my knees.  The leader says,”We know about your disgusting love of Voltron, caped crusaders, and dick jokes.  It’s time to put an end to your childish fantasies and make literature what it was supposed to be:  Book circles that speak in NPR voices.  No laughter; nods with intent stares is as far as it goes.”  In a quavering voice I ask, “What about pizza?  What about starfighters?”  The leader chuckles evilly.  “No pizza.  Early gray and finger sandwiches only.  And starfighters?  Please.  Those will be replaced with Victorian era dramas.”  I grit my teeth.  Hell.  NO.  Open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  A horde of zombies falls upon the literature elitists, and horrified screams erupt from them as their brains and organs are torn out and devoured.  I’m preparing to meet the same fate when I feel rotted fingers key my cuffs open.  I rub my wrists and stand up, turning and staring into a half-decayed face.  The zombie puts his hand on my shoulder and says, “Pizza.  Starfighters.  Must.  Save.”  I run out, briefly feeling pity for the dying literature snobs, but it passes quickly.  I mean, come on, pizza and starfighters, right?  😉

Stories aren’t about high tea and essay-fodder, they’re about screaming for joy as the enemy gets his motha duckin’ due!  (preferably via laser blast, enchanted sword, or some kinda intricate, Batman-worthy deception)  Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle.
