Echo-A Dystopian Science Fiction Novel

Valley girls have taken over the earth and have created a nightmarish hell-realm:  Gaudily-colored drones fill the skies, hunting down the nonmaterialistic.  When they are found and located, they are taken to camps where they are forcibly re-educated in Valley-speak.  I’ll be DAMNED if every statement I make sounds like a question.  I’m running madly thru the night, drone-lights carving the blackness into sections of harsh shadow.  Suddenly one of them illuminates me.  “STOP KENT WAYNE.  YOU ARE IN DANGER OF EXPRESSING YOURSELF IN AN INTELLIGENT MANNER.”  My heart jackhammers, my eyes widen in panic.  I open my eReader to Echo in a desperate fumble.  Magic flash.  Gul’ Thak the Barbarian Fighter-Mage appears above me on a war-pterodactyl and starts bashing drones with an enchanted mace.  A war-ptero lands in front of me, saddled up and fitted with a lance and a .50 cal.  Hells yeah!  I jump on and join the fray, strafing drones with bright arcs of gunfire and spearing them with my lance.  Explosions trail me as I streak through the sky, whooping in delight.

War-pterodactyls:  The perfect solution to fend off the forcefully annoying.  Get Echo Vol. 1 on Kindle here:  Vol. 1 on Kindle.  Vol. 2 on Kindle here:  Vol.2 on Kindle.
