Ever done something outside the range of “who you thought you were?”  We all hold onto the quirks of our identities and guard them with the same puritanical mix of shame/guilt that we use to defend our sex lives.  Personally, I think it’s fun to be open about jumping from identity to identity (and necessary, for us creative types), and if you see that amazing thing underneath that creates ALL identities…

Then it becomes REALLY fun.  😉

  1. I’m an open book kind of gal but still I wonder if it isn’t a good idea to keep a part of ourselves only for our loved ones or ourselves. Maybe that’s where fiction comes in. Its very freeing to write about ‘others’. To create alter egos. You live as another, and as yourself. 🙂
