I’m on a boat, motha ducka!  Wait, what’s that speeding toward me on jet skis?  HOLY HELL it’s my embittered English teachers!  They’ve been waiting YEARS to get back at me for starting sentences with “And,” “But,” and using poetic license to mix tenses.  They’re brandishing their red correction pens and squawking at me in stilted and proper English.  Not gonna lie—I’m having panicked, grade school flash backs.  I open my eReader to Echo.  Magic flash.  Every sea monster imaginable—great whites, Swamp Thing, the motha duckin’ Kraken—rises from the deep and starts rending pedantic nerd flesh in an orgy of mashed organs and red screams.  Too harsh?  Maybe…but come on—consider how annoying grammar-nazis are.  😉

    EVERY time I read the word Kraken, I hear Josh Robert Thompson formerly of late late show fame, doing Liam Neeson, saying “Release the Kraken! Quickly, there’s no time!!” I say, “rend” all the pedantic grammar nazis you want. They need to be rendered.

    How can someone not grab your ebooks when you give us golden posts like this? You just sold two books to this guy (you can go ahead and buy that summer cottage you’ve been thinking about now). I’ve got an 80k beast to copy-edit for a friend, but when I get done, I will start rummaging through your pages.

      What whaaaat!!! Thank you so much Kind Sir! And like I tell everybody…my strong point is themes and structure, and the prose may be a bit weak at first…but I’m told that it strengthens the further you read. THANK YOU!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
