Musings

I find that an organic peace of mind arises from daily discipline and doing what you know to be right (at the time), and then realizing that the outcome is not up to you, but that you still did what you were capable of.

Our limited power over existence is a clue that we must relinquish attachment to outcome, yet still drive ourselves to do better.

  1. I could not agree more with this, showing discipline in your day to day activities is essential and something I have been working on. Do what you think or know to be right and the rest is up to the Gods as it were.

      • You mean we are truant children who test the waters to check out the truths. So we know the wisdom but need to learn the truth of it for ourselves? God why am I so wilful? When will I just accept?

      • Who knows, honestly? It’s what I like to think on a personal level. Another cool premise I like to entertain is that we died a long time ago, and we’re actually super advanced people in the future that are enjoying simulations of a long-dead Earth. But my heart tells me that there’s something divine underneath everything, even if naming it usually screws it up, and to trust that. 🙂
