I can’t endorse the basics enough:  those grinding routines of self accountability.  I’ve heard countless opinions on fitness, spirituality, ethics, and almost every subject delivered by those who don’t follow their own advice.  Without disciplined refinement of the basics, even though someone may mouth words of truth, Truth will neither grace nor flow through them.  Unromantic, boring, repetitive basics first.  Glory and eye-catching novelty second.
