News:  Gotta start with gratitudes:  Thanks to those who bought Echo this week and decided to take a chance on my first attempt at fiction!  BIG thanks to Melissa, Barbara, and Ian for leaving me amazing reviews on Amazon!  Thanks guys!

Okay, school’s been picking up, so I went from 600 words/day to 400, editing 1 chapter a day instead of 2.  To make up for it I write on Saturdays now too.  Just started Chapter 9 and they’re still fighting in the warehouse.  There’s some major character development that goes on there; I’m happy it can be done in a dynamic, exciting environment.

Also: I love writing, I love entertaining you guys, but in order to make a living off of it you need to hit it out of the park.  To get wealthy off of it you need to REALLY hit it out of the park.  And while I’m fine living in a tiny box, I would feel incredible if I could make enough to have some of my older family live a little more luxuriously.  To that end, I’ve drastically cut down my leisure time, which heretofore has consisted of TV and Kingdom Rush on the Ipad (Amazing game) and I’ve decided to teach myself, along with a vet buddy, coding.  I’d like to make apps.  You don’t have to be a top 1% performer in the app industry to make good money, unlike writing.  And there are many ways to make money with apps.  So there’s that.  I’ll let you guys know of any asinine, childish apps I make on my way, haha!

Now it’s homework, writing, and coding.  No more long chunks of time in the evening where I can watch Netflix!  (well every now and then, just to give myself a break).  Don’t worry!  Still writing every day!  Anyways….to all you writers, I wish you inspired drafting and insightful editing!  🙂
